Before our sojourn could really start, we had to get there first. This lady (my mom) was the inspiration behind getting the entire crew half way 'round the world. We celebrated her birthday in Tokyo's Narita airport during a 3 hour layover following a 14 hour flight from New York's JFK.
We did our best to put our party faces on, but how good would you look after such a long flight. We still have a 4 hour flight to get to Manila.
	Here's the youngest member of the entourage with her dad, my older brother and all around nice guy, Juan. Jackie's her name and being as cute as a sugarbug is her game. She's got quite a set of vocal chords too.
